Rob Stoppard Coaching was established as a division of Destiny Unlimited International, for the purpose of providing an example of a personal coaching practice. While this practice is very important to us it is only a small part of the vision. To realize the fullness of the vision it is imperative that we train others to excel in this life-giving profession, because the need is in epidemic proportians!

If you have an innate desire to help people excel in life, then enrolling in our Life Coach training program is for you!

The track towards being certified as a Life-Coach, Leadership-Coach and Team-Coach through Destiny Unlimited International is established in a format that allows you to grow at your own personal pace.

 

Some are ready to give this training weekly attention because their heart is alive with passion about helping others. Others are glad for the training and desire to help others, but need a much slower pace in which they can advance. The following information is for your consideration as you explore the potential of a new career in Life-Coaching.

 

Coaching, defined
Coaching is a professional relationship in which individuals seek help in defining clear steps that motivate them to meet their goals as they relate to their personal destiny. This ongoing relationship provides opportunities for clients to expand their view of self, life and their future. The net effect of this relationship is a greater awareness of how to maximize the combination of the individual’s gift mix, personality, and life experience so that their life experience will be prosperous for self and others.

Meetings are designed to center around the presenting needs and desires as outlined by the client. The coach is an active listener that brings clarity to the perceived needs and goals of the client through asking questions and recording notes for possible action steps. The coach takes a careful look at where the client has been, where they currently are and what they would like to accomplish in the future. Results that achieve the client stated dreams are the ultimate goal of the coach. Hence he or she will help the client set realistic goals on timelines appropriate for the future they see.

A concentrated focus streamlines the efforts of the client while giving the coach opportunities to continually expand their vision by offering encouragement and practical action steps. During this process the client’s true intentions are realized as they step into new aspects of their life. The client is offered choices to consider along with the challenge of being held accountable to meet the goals they set. At anytime the client may change direction or simply stop the process.

A life coach certified through Destiny Unlimited International is not a counselor and does not offer instruction or advice concerning psychological needs or concerns. If such services are needed the client will seek such help of their own accord. However, if a professional counselor or psychologist is licensed as a coach through Destiny Unlimited International, they may at their own discretion offer the services in which they are trained, but separate from the coaching sessions.

Coach Equipping Tracks

Associate Coach
Introductory level - establishing vision for excellence in coaching

• Provide 2 character references

• Completion of Equipping Track 1 Introduction to

• Life Coaching (6 hours) written review (3 hours)

• Written document as to why you will make a good coach. (2 hours)

• Receiving Life-Coaching 6 sessions and successfully accomplishing goals established

• (6 hours coaching and 12 hours personal application)

• Completion of Equipping Track 2 Excelling in Coaching

• (6 hours) and provide written review of the principles and how they could work with your clients (3 hours)

• Establish a coaching relationship with 3 clients and document the steps you take and results (6 hours)

• Write action steps with timelines to establish your own coaching practice. (2 hours)

• Read “If How-to’s Were Enough We Would All be Skinny, Rich and Happy” by Brian Klemmer and write a summary of the key coaching points that enhances your coaching capability. (6 hours)

This track is 50 hours and your investment is $1275.00 (Includes 12 Coaching sessions and equipping tracks 1 and 2)


Professional Coach
Second level – establishing credibility and stability in coaching

• Provide two references from your coaching clients concerning their experience with you

• Completion of the Equipping Track 3 – Growing your practice and learning your coaching niche. (6 hours) Provide a written review of the marketing techniques you learn and a summary of your area of coaching expertise (4 hours)

• Written review of our coach’s Core-values and how they are demonstrated in your practice (2 hours)

• Document coaching sessions with your own clients – 50 hours minimum 6 clients (12 hours)

• Read “Failing Forward” by John Maxwell (Turning mistakes into Stepping Stones for Success) and write a 4-6 page review of key points that enhance the coaching experience (12 hours)

• Complete track 4 – Vision and mission development for individuals, marriages, families and organizations (6hours) and write a review of the principles learned (4 hours)

• Write your personal life-vision, mission and personal core values (4 hours)

• Completion of a Follow Your Calling, a destiny development assessment and actively working out the suggested personal growth goals (6 hours), this step may be completed at anytime up to the Master Coach level

This track is 50 hours and your investment is $1275.00 (Includes 10 Coaching sessions and equipping tracks 3 and 4 and a Follow Your Calling, a destiny development assessment)


Master Coach
Third level – establishing experience and wisdom in coaching

• Provide three references from your coaching clients concerning their experience with you

• Completion of Equipping Track 5 – Role specific training. There are numerous aspects of life that individuals desire help. This training will provide tools to help you excel in leadership coaching, leadership team coaching, vocational coaching, marriage coaching and other types of coaching. (6 hours) and write a review of the principles learned (4 hours)

• Read “The Principles and Power of Vision” by Dr. Myles Munroe and write a 3-4 page review concerning coaching principles and vision development (12 hours)

• Document coaching sessions with your own clients – 100 coaching hours, minimum 10 clients (20 hours)

This track is 42 hours and your investment is $850.00 (Includes 8 Coaching sessions and equipping track 5)

Final Exams are required at the completion of each equipping level. Fee $100.00


Application process for the equipping track

Registration is required at each new level: $50.00 non refundable application fee. We extend to each student the privilege of paying for each equipping level through customized installments plans throughout the equipping process. However, a $300.00 deposit must be received at the beginning of each new level and a payment plan in place. All work must be completed and tuition paid in full before a certificate of completion is issued. All payments can be made by check, Visa or Mastercard.

 

To move into the next equipping level a copy of your certificate of completion from the previous level must accompany your registration.

 

You may register for the Equipping Tracks when ever they are offered. In other words you do not need to wait to receive this valuable training until you get to the level under which they are listed. The course registration fee will be deducted from the price of the level for which you apply.

 

References are required to begin certification and must be received in our office before you are released to proceed in the equipping track.

 

Certificates of Completion provide proof of your satisfactory completion of each level of training. Each level completed grants you privileges to use the materials issued in each equipping session as well as identifying yourself as a professional trained through Destiny Unlimited International. The right to use this material is reviewed annually at the anniversary date of issuance of the Certificate of Completion.

 

Coaching certification is proving to be a highly effective service in many cultures throughout the world when the principles are results focused and the certified competencies including the processes and tools can cross from individuals to families and organizations. The Destiny Unlimited training track provides principles that can be used in multitudes of institutions such as business, industry, nonprofit organizations, churches and yes, even families. Our coaching is a proven strategy that provides a positive return on investment when carefully implemented planning and the ability to measure progress is established in advance.

 

In today’s society the importance of cognitive knowledge and skills supersedes the importance of attitudes and habits. There has been an assumption that mastering performance will somehow come naturally when the knowledge is in place. Historically, this has not proven true. What are the real problems? Perhaps the issue lies in a steady decline of poor attitudes and habits and the absence of mentoring? Hence, our coaching is designed to help people discover what they truly believe about life, self, authority, career, etc. As the process unfolds, new attitudes and habits are learned along with the value of trust. The momentum for such change is experiencing positive results that enhance the clients success in the areas they establish their goals.

Destiny Unlimited's Philosophy of Coaching

Destiny Unlimited International values their client by honoring his or her views and perspectives on their own life. The Coach and Boundaries

• The coaching relationship will be established with clear agreements that will be honored in the context of a professional coaching relationship.

• I will not involve myself sexually with any client.

• I will establish appropriate boundaries that will govern any physical contact that I may have with clients

• The client will receive instructions that outline the ingredients of the coaching process, the cost incurred for services and the oath of confidentiality.

• I will make every attempt to define the coaching process and the expectations for results in such a way that will not make false claims or mislead the client.

• The client may discontinue the coaching service offered. Both the coach and the client will regularly evaluate the effectiveness of the coaching process. Hence, if the coach discerns minimal progress, the client will be notified when a change of coaches or a break from service will be beneficial.

• If a client discloses an intention of harming or endangering self or others, appropriate authorities will be notified for their protection.

• A release of information agreement must be signed by the client to release information concerning the clients coaching process, accept when required by law.

The Coach’s Pledge

Destiny Unlimited International has established values that I agree to honor as they relate to my clients, colleagues and those in my sphere of influence. It is my desire to represent the Destiny Unlimited and the coaching profession as a whole, in a respectful and honorary way. I pledge to actuate these values in every aspect of my coaching profession in order that the uniqueness of each individual is honored.

 

If at some point I breach my pledge concerning these values I give permission to Destiny Unlimited International to hold me accountable for my actions. If my violation warrants such action, Destiny Unlimited may at their discretion remove my name from its Life Coaches Referral List including any links established on the Destiny Unlimited International website or other such advertisements.
