PROBLEMS – CHALLENGES – PROVISION

Problems – Challenges, they seem to come out of nowhere! No one is exempt and some people feel like a magnet attracting every difficulty that exists. There are various reasons for problems to emerge in your life journey. But where is the PROVISION!

  • Some we create through carelessness, laziness, or bad attitudes…
  • Others emerge in our lives because of the poor decisions of other people…
  • Learning to live by faith pushes you into the unfamiliar where new challenges emerge…
  • But perhaps the most frustrating is the unseen problem maker, evil spirits…

Christians are not exempt from problems. HOWEVER, since they have a “new life in Christ” they are better equipped to process them successfully. I know, for many who read this post, it doesn’t look that way because it has not been your experience, nor was it mine for many years. Likely you were not mentored in living from the “new life” in your “new identity”.

I don’t know about you, but I was taught about Christian works more than what it meant to live out of relationship with God. Christian activity does not equal spiritual relationship with God.

Likely, you can quote some of the following verses – principles – promises, but rarely, if ever experienced them…

  • With God ALL things are possible…
  • I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength…
  • I can do what Jesus did and even greater things…
  • Everything I need for life and godliness has been supplied to me…

To change your experience with problems, a change of perspective is required. When living from your new identity, every problem reveals a provision.

  • Focusing on the problem distracts you from seeing the provision…
  • Giving thanks while processing the problem helps you refocus on your new life inChrist…
  • Choosing to delight yourself in the Lord gives Him opportunity to reveal His solutions…
  • Choosing to seek first the Kingdom of God, which is a relationship with Holy Spirit, (the Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit) gives opportunity for everything else to be added to you…
  • Seeing the size of the problem helps you see the size of the provision, which teaches you to see as God sees…
  • Spiritually speaking we are seated in heavenly places, therefore we can see things from God’s perspective…
  • At times in our destiny development we are put on assignments to deal with the enemy who steals and destroys. We can misinterpret this as “getting attacked”, when we are to expose and drive out the enemy…
  • Some problems feel like you are under a curse. Invite Holy Spirit to reveal the opposite which is a blessing.Thank God for the blessing and speak it out loud…

When you encounter a problem of any size, ask God these questions…

  1. What is Your perception of this problem?
  1. What do You want me to see, learn or get from this?
  1. How do you see this problem?
  1. How do you want to handle it?

I know that it has been really hard for some of you for many years and to believe that these principles can work for you can be difficult.

Choice creates…

So why not choose to refocus your attention onto what God might be doing rather than just talk about your problems? To begin the change process why not pray a prayer something like this…

Father God, I am so exhausted from living this life style of lack which has caused me to focus on need. Today I want to see provision from your perspective. I want to respond to the curse of lack with the promise that all our needs are met according to Your riches in glory, but I don’t want to just speak words that are empty, so please awaken me to faith that You provide!

(Now state your problem to God as you see it)

Example: “Our rent is due tomorrow and we don’t see any way to pay it.” How do You see this problem? What do You want me to learn from this and what are your ideas on how to handle this? Please help me to relax and enjoy your presence rather than be stuck on the oppression, disappointment and frustration. Thanks for this opportunity and may Your joy fill my heart! You are great and mighty God! Amen!

LOOKING FORWARD TO HEARING TESTIMONIES OF FINDING PROVISION IN THE PROBLEM!

AN INVITATION TO JOY

A PLACE OF GOD'S STRENGTH

Joy is an amazing word, somehow invitational in nature. Sadly there are many people that  don’t take the invitation because of a hidden fear that they somehow are not included or they are disqualified.

  • Perhaps as we approach the most celebrated birthday in all of history, the birth of Jesus, the Son of God, we can catch a glimpse the fruit of Joy that Holy Spirit has to offer us!
  • Perhaps the invitation is real!
  • Perhaps the Joy of the Lord can truly be your strength, not just for this birthday celebration but for the New Year!

Take a moment and listen to: THE JOY OF THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH! Release the fear and embrace the joy of the Lord!

Joy-filled Christmas and New Year everyone!

IMPOSSIBLE

YES, THAT IS WHAT IT FEELS LIKE SOMETIMES

Hi Everyone,

The last two months have been an amazing time of discovery, but as you can tell, I haven’t kept my promise to make my blog posts every Wednesday morning. My “sabbatical” from posting every Wednesday morning was not planned or announced, it just happened. I have had an incredible time learning new things and making new connections with key people over the last month or so and can’t wait to tell you more when the time is right.

I hit a wall where it felt IMPOSSIBLE to get everything done. This became a serious matter of personal reflection, introspection and discussion with God. It soon became obvious that there were two primary obstacles, that kept me from the truth that with God ALL things are POSSIBLE.

  • I was trying to do everything myself
  • I was trusting God, part time…

Being a curious, try it out personality style, with easy access to most any information I want through the internet, my quest to “meet my own needs” distracted me from some of the wisdom God wanted to reveal to me.  To learn new things about creating courses, media, technology and marketing have been helpful, but certainly not areas of gifting or talent! My gifts, talents and abilities are core to living out my destiny with God.

How can God meet a need that I am trying to meet on my own?

Thankfully, during these last several weeks or so, the God of “all things are POSSIBLE” showed His grace, mercy and provision through identity people marketing, media, course building ability and administration skills that have already been in my life! Yes, my provision, “the answered prayer“, was right there all along, but leaning on my own understanding and giving fear permission to direct my thoughts put me in the “doing everything myself” mode.

When you get a minute check out the following bold statements from Jesus and ask Holy Spirit to give you revelation that will take the “im” off of your IMPOSSIBLE!

  • Matthew 19:26
  • Mark 9:23
  • Mark 10:27
  • Mark 14:36

Everyone hits a wall now and then where IMPOSSIBLE feels so real. What is your “wall” made of; lies, unbelief, doubt, excuse, or blame-shifting?

I would enjoy receiving feedback about the revelation, provision and freedom you receive as you process this amazing promise of God!

Thanks, Rob
